"If you are searching for a local option for your electronic repair needs, look no further than AER!! You will always get professional, trustworthy service when you take your phone/tablet/computer to Kevin to repair. I recently had an old laptop hard drive repaired as well as leaving a few tablets. He was honest with me about the options to repair the tablets - even telling me that he was able to fix one, but that purchasing a replacement would only be $10-$20 more. Most places would take your money and not even tell you. When I got the laptop home I had a conflict with the type of Comcast internet I have. AER not only spent time troubleshooting with me over the phone but also included his world class IT department - both of whom tried for a good amount of time to help me connect to wi-fi at my home. In the end it was a problem with the type of tri band wi-fi conflicting with my dual-band wireless adapter. Which was indeed what AER and his amazing IT department found was the issue. I highly recommend you give Athens Electronics Repair a call for ALL your repair needs, you will be in good hands with Kevin and will not be disappointed!! "My phone was severely cracked on the back and my phone charger kept saying on and off their was something in the charger port and would stop charging and he was able to fix it for 150 in store where I got my phone it was going to cost me 400 replacement ,1200 upgrade so id say well worth my 150 and it looks just like the back that was on their already no complaints at all IT ONLY TOOK A HOUR WITCH WAS THE BEST PART !!!!!!! This man did a amazing job on my phone saved me upwards to 1050 if I upgraded ,and saved me 250 if I'd replaced not to mention replacement can take up.to 2 days that your without your phone ,he only took a hour to fix mine 😀 considering i can't go without my phone made me extremely happy 10 /10 recommend"

"This man was amazing, i called every electronics repair shop in Athens. Nobody wanted to touch my PS5's fives HDMI port. He told me, "Go ahead, bring it by." He'll take care of it, and he had it fixed within an hour. He did a diagnostic, and it turns out I just needed a new hdmi cable.I almost went and bought a brand new PS5. And then he wouldn't even let me pay him for the time.He spent to run the diagnostic and figure out what was wrong. These are the type of small businesses. We need to support them because they take care of us. I'll never recommend anybody go anywhere other than right here. But fear not, if you did need your HDMI port replaced. This is the man for the job."

"Absolute fantastic service: called about getting a new HDMI port for my Xbox, was quoted a fair price, brought it over and was told it would be done in no more than three hours, was given a text when it was done within two hours along with a picture showing the HDMI port was working, had it picked up in no time, and was not asked to make payment until after the job was done. "Dropped my iphone 15 in the ocean while on vacation which caused the screen to start messing up almost immediately after. Apple will not touch a phone that has experienced water damage and will make you replace it. I discovered Athens ER after a desperate google search looking for a professional opinion on what I should do next. I was expecting to be told that fixing the phone was a hopeless task (as it is with most devices with saltwater damage) but Kevin told me that he would take a look at it. He allowed me to drop off the phone same day and explained to me the situation as well as what he would do to determine the extent of the damage. Athens ER was able to fix my phone quickly and the customer service was absolutely incredible. The cost of the service was way better than I could have hoped for as well. After cleaning and prepping the phone from the water damage and then replacing the phone screen, the cost was still cheaper than it would have been for Apple to replace only the screen (or worse yet in my situation having me replace the phone). Overall I would recommend Athens ER to anyone needing a device repair!"
